Ed Macdonald
Ed Macdonald was born and raised on Cape Breton Island. He grew up in the theatre—writing, directing, and acting—until moving on to screenwriting. He has won three Gemini Awards for his work in television and has been nominated many times. He has won the The Golden Sheaf and The Writer’s Guild of Canada Award. In 2005, he was nominated for the New York Innovative Theatre Award. Ed Lives in Montreal.
