Rishi Midha’s stories have been published in the literary magazines subTerrain and The New Quarterly, and have won or been finalists for contests including the LUSH Triumphant Literary Award and the Peter Hinchcliffe Short Fiction Award. His story “We Are Busy Being Alive” was selected for Biblioasis Press’ Best Canadian Stories 2026. We Are Busy Being Alive is his debut collection of short stories. He lives in Toronto, Canada.
