June 24, 2016: Anvil signs Michael Blouin’s novel, Skin House for Spring 2018 release.

May 19, 2016: Over coffee on Main Street, Anvil publisher Brian Kaufman and poet/editor Mariner Janes discuss, clarify, plan, and give a loose schedule to The Collected Poems of Bud Osborn. Aiming for 2017.

March 8, 2016: Anvil signs Martin West for his novel, Long Ride Yellow, the follow-up to his debut collection of stories, Cretacea and Other Stories from the Badlands.

March 3, 2016: Anvil signs poet and Poetry Gabriola Festival producer Hilary Peach to a two-book deal: a book of poetry Birdsong & Thunder, and a collection of creative nonfiction, Sulphur.

November 25, 2015: Anvil signs Toronto author Terry Watada for his novel, The Three Pleasures. Slotted for Spring 2017.

November 23, 2015: Anvil signs Annette Lapointe’s first short story collection, You Are Not Needed Now. To be released in the Spring of 2017.

November 15, 2015: Anvil signs Calgary poet John Creary for his debut collection, Escape from Wreck City, slated for Spring 2017.

November 6, 2015: Anvil inks paper with Montreal writer Jon Paul Fiorentino for the second time. This time it is a collection of poetry, Leaving Mile End, to appear in Spring 2017.
